Sprouts have been part or our menu for as long as Di and I have been together Alfalfa on our sandwiches and salads and sometimes mung beans made and appearance on our food. I though nothing of this, I just put it down to Di’s exotic tastes and part of being a great cook.
It wasn’t until we progressed from a vegetarian diet to a vegan diet and I started doing research for our first book ‘Turn Over a New Leaf’ that I became aware of the exceptional benefits of sprouted seeds grains and legumes.
