Introduction
There is so much publicity in the media these days about poor nutrition and the diseases that it causes. The catchcry is, Obesity, Diabetes ADD, ADHD are the epidemics of our time. We are already experiencing the proof that many people are looking for solutions by the sales of our books and the interest and enrolments in our Kitchen Coaching Training Program. However, we are very aware of how much we need help from socially conscious corporations, institutions, Governments and individuals if we are to make a lasting impact.
Success can only come when the whole idea of good nutrition becomes part of the fabric of our society.
Based on the premise that the most important thing in our lives is our health and the most important thing for our health is good nutrition, a new training program has been developed now known as Kitchen Coaching
The Kitchen Coach will train people how to prepare natural food in their own homes. The training is based on the food program set out in the book ‘Turn Over a New Leaf’. The program is a complete eating guideline to cleanse, balance and detoxify your body in six weeks.
In addition to learning how to prepare and cook natural food, trainees will learn how to become a trainer and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety in the kitchen, complete kitchen planning, basic nutrition, marketing, networking, product promotion, cooking workshops and food tastings. Each Kitchen Coach will become a key player in bringing all facets of natural health services to the attention of their clients and the general public in their region.
Rationale
The Training Program is being conducted to reintroduce people to their kitchens and empower them to take back the responsibility of their own and their children’s nutrition. Kitchen Coaching is an opportunity to have a career at the very heart of the health industry. Training families and individuals in the importance of natural food preparation and nutrition, a significant factor in counteracting the current trend of obesity, diabetes and behavioural disorders in children and adults.
Individuals who are prepared to complete the Turn Over a New Leaf program, have an interest in being a trainer and are motivated to create change in the health and nutrition of the population would benefit from this program.
